Welcome to the 6th grade Health Blog!

This blog is a great way for you and your classmates to share thought, ideas, and opinions on different health topics that we will talk about in 6th grade health.

As we beginning the nutrition unit, please tell the class how you plan on eating a healthy/balanced diet and get 60 minutes of exercise a day while you are in health for the 1st marking period.

  1. I am planning on eating healthy/balanced diet by thinking what is good or not for me. Also, by thinking twice about what I am going to eat. I plan on getting 60 minutes of exercise a day by after homework I will go outside ride my bike, go onto the trampoline, and by running around my nieghborhood or at my friend's house. That is how I will plan on eating a healthy/balanced diet and planning to get 60 minutes a day while I am in health for the first marking period.

  2. I am planning on eating a balanced meal and staying healthy by exersizing as much as i can I do not exacualy time it but i will now time how much i exersize each day. I will aslso eat healthy by eating the right amount of food each day.

  3. I plan to not go to McDonnalds or other fast food places but I will eat at least an apple or other fruit. To get 60 minutes of exersise I will attend sports such as soccer, basketball, and baseball. I will also play with my dog and do Wiifit the video game that helps you burn calories. I would like to comment on Ellie. I think Ellie makes exersize sound fun because who doesn't like trampolines! (: :)

  4. I plan to be healthy by not going to McDonalds or other fast food places and playing sports, WiiFit, and with my dog. I'll comment on Ellie, Ellie made exersize sound fun by mentioning trampolines.

  5. I am planning on eating a healthy/balanced diet by thinking what is healthy and what is not.I will have fruit and vegetables everyday. I plan on getting 1 hour of excersise a day by walking around with my dog and playing with her after my homework, going to my soccer practices and games,riding my brothers longboard andrunning up and down the stairs and all aroud my yard with my dog. That is how I plan on getting a healthy/balanced diet and 60 minutes of excersise a day during this marking period.

  7. My opinion on McDonalds food was always it sounds disgusting I've never liked it and especially now I will never eat it! my opinion is the same because of that video. It was so wierd.

  9. I am planning on eating a healthy/balanced diet everyday. I will eat fruits and vegetables at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I plan on getting 60 minutes of exercise each day after my homework. I will get 60 minutes of exercise by playing with my friends, playing with my brother, walking up and down the block with my brother, and my friends. That is how I plan to getting a healthy/balanced diet and 60 minutes of exercise each day during this marking period.

  10. I plan on eating a balanced and healthy diet each day by eating a efficient amount of fruits, vegetables, and protein. I will also try to not snack as much while watching TV, and not get french fries when I go out to dinner. I always do stretches when I get home from school, and I will work hard at cross country. I also do push ups every night. Overall, it's not easy being physically fit.
